Based Loosely in between the stories of the secons and third Films, X-Man is a completed unremarkable beat,em up with a few boilerplate shooter elements tossed into the mix the feels just haphazzard enough to likely have been rushed through development to get itstore shelved ahead of the films, it's no tha it's entirely broken mind you but X-Man missions are entirrly generic and devoid of captiviating content, and there are enough annoying little glitched and other obnoxious things prevalent throught to give tha game that thrown togheter feel. The X-Man are back well a select of them anyway. X-Man seems to follow the basic plot concept of the X-Men movies bt it centers it;s focus around three of the heros wolverine , NightCrawler and icemar wheter this was delipberate choice or a direct responce to which of the film's actor activision could actually get to reprise their roles for the game ( Hugh Jackman, Alan Cumming and shawn ashmore are indeed in the game we'll likely never know but NightCrawler inclusion is specifcally to explain why he's not in the new movie. for what it's worth jackmar cumming, and ashmore all do serviceable jobs voicing the chracter as does patrick whow returns to voice act professor X.
